A paper by Dr. Shoko Yamamoto and colleagues from JELLICE Co., Ltd., titled "Collagen Tripeptide Administration Improves Gingival Microcirculation and Tissue Health in Beagle Dogs with Gingivitis" has been published in the Journal of Japanese Society of Oral Implantology, Vol. 37, No. 3.
This study suggests that oral ingestion of collagen tripeptide contributes to the maintenance of healthy gingiva.
For the observation of capillary loops in the marginal gingival epithelium affected by gingivitis in Beagle dogs--including significant improvement in capillary morphology scores, resolution of capillary congestion, and improvement of blood flow--the whole-body capillaroscope GOKO Bscan-Z from GOKO Imaging Devices Co., Ltd. was utilized.
