  • Features

    In conventional ultra-high magnification observation, hand-held observation is very difficult, and it is common practice to fix the scope on a stand. There are two main reasons:

    1. The slightest movement of the observer's hand causes the field of view to move away from the object being observed.
    2. The depth of focus is too narrow because traditional observations are made using flat prepared slide.

    Deep depth of field in

    In ultra-high magnification observation, depth of field is often shallow, which can cause frustration because it is not easy to focus on the subject.

    In addition, depth of field was not so much required for traditional observation of flat subjects such as prepared slides.

    The non-slip tip mechanism advantage (1): Fine focus adjustment is easy!

    In hand-held observation at ultra-high magnification, even a small movement of the finger to adjust the focus can result in fatal camera shake, making it difficult to capture the image as desired.
    With the GOKO EV-13, you can adjust the desired focus position simply by touching the tip to the subject and lightly pushing or pulling.

    It is very important that your hand does not slip during one-handed ultra-high magnification observation.
    This is because the field of view projected on the screen is minuscule, less than 1 mm wide, and even a slight slip of the finger can cause a completely different part of the image to be projected.
    In addition, the tip is made of a material that does not easily damage the subject.

    How to use the Handheld Ultra Microscope

    With the support of UVC in iPad OS17, you can now connect GOKO microscopes to your Type-C equipped iPad to observe and save clear real-time images. USB conversion adapter to USB Type-C required. Observation and saving on Mac is also possible. Contact us for supported applications.
